Underwriting services

Our flexible underwriting services help you get the business bound. For more than 1,000 classes of business, our general agents have Contract Binding underwriting authority to quote, bind and issue through our sophisticated online platform. Coverage is available on a monoline or package basis with Property coverage limits up to $10 million per location, and primary General Liability limits up to $5 million.

For larger, more complex risks, underwriting is handled through Brokerage Solutions. Property coverage is available on a monoline or package basis with Property coverage limits up to $20 million per location, and primary General Liability limits up to $5 million.

Travelers agent incentives

Travelers retail agents and producers who have a Commercial Lines Performance Plus or Fixed Value-Based (FVB) incentive agreement may receive credit for eligible business placed through Northfield general agents. Learn more.
